I got mentioned on AllThoseWhoWander!

My good friend Kat started blogging a couple months ago but kept us all (me in particular) wondering (ahem) when we'd get to see it and she finally sent me the link! And I got a mention in it! So this is me mentioning her's in mine. Haha.

Catch her blog here.

Confirmation: Bisexuals exist.

I find this hilarious. It has been confirmed (in the New York Times, nogal) that bisexual men do exist. This is the headline:

NO SURPRISE FOR BISEXUAL MEN: THEY DO EXIST.
In an unusual scientific about-face, researchers at Northwestern University have found evidence that at least some men who identify themselves as bisexual are, in fact, sexually aroused by both women and men.

Wow.

The rest of the article is here - in case you're not yet convinced.

Pound.

Another film from the Short&Sweet festival that I've been enjoying so much over the past few weeks. It really is short and sweet:

Don't have time to blog at the moment, so instead I'm reposting things I find funky enough to show you.

This is the epitome of funk:

Aesthetic vs. Anesthetic.

FB Post of the day by Kaela Bermeister. If you have the time, do watch/listen to this. It's brilliant.

KIA: Awesome

I was an extra in a KIA Picanto add a little while back and this is the result:

It was so much fun. High-energy, freezing-cold summer fun.

And you can click here for a nicely made behind the scenes video, too.

Short&Sweet

My friend Maggie took me to a film festival event called Short&Sweet last week and literally every film that was shown was fantastic. All in very different ways. But good film making/story-telling/animation and even acting all-round.

Here are three completely different films from the festival:

SPIDER: Get your heart-rate up in 9 minutes.

LOGORAMA: A nice comment on today's logo-maniac society... especially the big M.

FAMILY PORTRAIT: An artistic expression of a family dynamic.

Zapiro earned himself a lawsuit for the first rape metaphor cartoon. Mad props for stickin' it to the man and coming out with the necessary second cartoon despite it all.
